Visit Mayor of Euclid

Eighth grade Noble Academy students Annik Devastey, Orianna Hudson, and Rodney Pittman had the opportunity to visit Mayor Bill Cervenik of Euclid on May 11, 2011.

Joined by Mr. Hakan and Ms. Orbash, students were received by Mayor Ceervenik in his personal office where the mayor congratulated the students on their individual as well as Noble Academy’s OAA test scores. Mayor Cervenik was very personable and even akkowed the students to sit in his office chair!
After a casual talk with the students, the mayor took the students on a tour where they saw the prosecutor’s office, the meeting room where city council members meet, the solar panels installed on the roof to make the building more environmentally friendly, and the television studio where mayoral addresses are filmed for local television.
The television studio was by far the highlight of the students’ experience!
The students were pleasantly surprised at how fun and interesting Mayor Cervenik’s office could be.
