Noble Students Visit Senator Sharrod Brown

Noble Academy students took a trip to Washington D.C. in mid-April to visit Senators Sharrod Brown and Rob Portman.  Students really enjoyed asking questions of Senator Brown who spent some time telling them about how the government works.  Senator Portman’s assistant spent quite a bit of time talking with students to let them know how to be hired in a internship to work at our Nation’s Capitol.

While in Washington, D.C., students also had the opportunity to visit the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memmorial, the Washington Monument, the National Mall, the Korean War Veteran’s Memmorial, and the Thomas Jefferson Memmorial.  Everyone was excited to have had the opportunity to visit and to see some of the most important attractions.
