Noble Visits Cleveland Municipal Court House

On April 3, 2014, a group of Noble students and staff visited courthouse and Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office.  Ms. Robin Belcher, an attorney for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutors Office, State Representative and parent at Noble Academy, arranged a visit to the Cleveland Justice Center, Courts Tower to tour the 9th floor Prosecutors Office. On April 3rd Ms. Belcher treated six IMP students: Landon Allen, Nathanael Ahiegbedey, Corey Rogers, Destiny Hunter, Shania Wright, and Sema Albulut, accompanied by Mr. Serhat and Mrs. Hammond, to a tour of several offices and a courtroom. The tour began with a discussion and Q & A session with Prosecutors Angela Thomas Fain and Judith Miles. In addition, the students visited a courtroom where they met Judge Shirley Saffold, her Bailiff, Lawrence Wallace, and Judge Pamela Barker. In the courtroom, Prosecutor Saleh Awadallah visited our students and shared the story of his 8th grade visit to a courtroom when he decided he wanted to be an attorney.
