Inducing a student’s momentum to learn is generated from
interest and enthusiasm given by the adult leaders. Willingness to take the
time and recognize how sensitive the development of our future leaders are,
true role models will guide their time to inspire and motivate students. The
office of Sherrod Brown, and the senator himself, recognized the importance of
being visible and exhibiting to our students how much they care about education
and their future. Graciously I thank the office of Sherrod Brown, and the
Senator Sherrod Brown for organizing the tours of the Capitol Building and the
White House. Senator Brown, on his way to work, stopped and assisted our
teacher in the taking pictures. Kind gestures such as that from our Senator
inspires the students, and all of us, to be a person of compassion first. Thank
you to all involved for encouraging a wonderful and educational visit in
Washington D.C. Together, Ohio will provoke educational achievements, and
develop an academic curriculum that every student will benefit from. I
respectfully appreciate the attention given to our students and school.

Noble Academy Cleveland meets US Senator Sherrod Brown. Mr. Kose along with Ms. Rashley spent two days in Washington D.C with students: Anastasiya Thomas, Jazmin Davis, Miya Strother, Valentina Slechticovas, Rodney Pittman, and Steven Funnell touring our Capitol and then meeting US Senator Brown for coffee and tea. While having coffee and tea with our gracious Senator our students spoke about the excellent education they receive at NAC and all their future plans. Senator Sherrod Brown was pleased to hear about the academic success of our students and how enthusiastic they are about their future. He complimented our school and students in a short video which will be played at our International Dinner.
The office of Senator Brown organized a wonderful tour of our Capitol Building and White House. The students, Ms. Rashley, and Mr. Kose took the Metro to visit numerous monuments and museums; including the Lincoln and Washington Monuments, The Korean Conflict Memorial, Indian and Art Museums, and the Smithsonian. The tour of the White House and Capitol building was thru invitation provided by the wonderful staff of Senator Brown’s office. The students and I are very thankful for their dedication and hard work with organizing the tours. Our trip to Washington D.C was a fun and educational adventure.
Thank you Senator Brown for your motivational speech and for taking time out of your schedule to meet our students and engage in conversation with them.
