Noble Academy Cleveland’s Robotics team started their competition at Kent State University, http://www.kent.edu/caest/first-tech-challenge-robotics-competition. Competing against 28 teams, only 5 of them advanced to State Championship.
Through many challenges and issues throughout the day like having to replace broken servo motors and an elevator system between 2 games, they did not loose a game during semi-finals and finals.
Noble Academy’s Robotics Team “T-Noble 9812” also went to the Southwestern PA Qualifier Tournament recently and won two awards: Control Award and the Winning Alliance Award!
Now they will go on to compete in the Ohio State Championship being held in Cincinnati on Feb 11th 2017 and then also participate in the Pennsylvania State Championship being held in Harrisburg, PA, on February 25, 2017.
We are proud of, and wish luck to, our 8th Grade Team Members: Imari Warfield , Quevon McHenry, Robert Jones and Martavius Abbott and their Robotics Team Leader Isa Korkmaz.
